cursor: auto;\">For this week&#8217;s discussion, you will&nbsp;<span style=\"cursor: auto;\">choose a voting social policy, discuss an argument in favor of it, then critically evaluate that social policy and\/or argument, and then reply to several of your classmates<\/span>, critically evaluating their policy, or their analysis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto;\"><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto;\">Part 1 (Due Wednesday, 11:59 C.T.)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto;\">Begin with a social social policy regarding who can vote and\/or under what conditions one can vote that hasn&#8217;t been discussed yet in the forum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto;\">This can be a contemporary social policy (such as voter ID laws), a historical social policy (such as a Jim Crow law), a fictional social policy from literature, tv, movies, etc., or one that you make up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto;\">Briefly (~ 1-2 sentences) explain the social policy in your own words.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto;\">Then discuss an argument in favor of that social policy, or a moral reason that one might want to adopt that social policy.&nbsp; (Try to be charitable and present the best possible argument you can.&nbsp; If you disagree with the policy, you can play devil&#8217;s advocate here.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto;\"><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto;\">Then,<span style=\"cursor: auto;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong>in a separate paragraph<strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto;\">,<span style=\"cursor: auto;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong>critically evaluate the social policy and argument you chose to talk about.&nbsp;
