Use of musical score examples etc are welcome also.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">Beethoven\u2019s Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor also known<br \/>\nas the \u201cMoonlight sonata\u201d has since it\u2019s premier in 1802 performed by Beethoven<br \/>\nhimself, has been a much loved and played standard of the piano repertoire for<br \/>\nboth pianists and audiences alike. The sonata gained it\u2019s now acclaimed<br \/>\nnickname from this performance with the German music critic Ludwig Rellstab<br \/>\ndescribing the first movement as \u201cbeing akin to moonlight flickering across<br \/>\nLake Lucerne\u201d. <\/p>\n<p style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">The way Beethoven structured this turn of the century piano<br \/>\nsonata is significant as it departs from the traditional fast slow fast form<br \/>\nthat had become the perceived sound of a classical sonata. However, with piano<br \/>\nsonata No. 14 Beethoven decides to use an end-weighted trajectory with each<br \/>\nsubsequent movement the tempo markings increasing from movement one in adagio<br \/>\nsostenuto, movement two in Allegretto before the final movement being in Presto<br \/>\nagitato.
