In <\/span><\/span><\/span>this<\/span><\/span> <\/span>assignment, you will develop a <\/span><\/span><\/span>discipling, <\/span><\/span><\/span>mentoring<\/span><\/span>, and <\/span><\/span><\/span>coaching<\/span><\/span> <\/span>plan for developing aviation leaders.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Instructions<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The goal of this assignment is to develop a <\/span><\/span><\/span>plan<\/span><\/span> <\/span>that will meet the needs of<\/span><\/span> <\/span>a developing leader in your aviation organization or in a fictional aviation organization.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>You may utilize actual people in your organization (using pseudonym names<\/span><\/span> <\/span>and not providing information that would reveal actual persons<\/span><\/span>) or you may utilize fictional people.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>In the structure of the <\/span><\/span><\/span>plan include the following elements<\/span><\/span>:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span><\/span>Summarize who the developing leader is, what role the<\/span><\/span>developing<\/span><\/span> <\/span>leader<\/span><\/span> <\/span>has or<\/span><\/span> <\/span>is being prepared for (including Authorities, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities<\/span><\/span> <\/span>in the role<\/span><\/span>), where the developing leader will perform the role, <\/span><\/span><\/span>and <\/span><\/span><\/span>when the developing leader will assume the role (may already be in the role)<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 <\/span><\/span>Explain the development and\/or learning needs of the developing leader and the development goals<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 <\/span><\/span>Detail and explain <\/span><\/span><\/span>a<\/span><\/span> <\/span>discipling plan for the developing leader<\/span><\/span>\u2013 incorporate the <\/span><\/span><\/span>Eight<\/span><\/span> <\/span>Discipling Steps<\/span><\/span> <\/span>or another<\/span><\/span>discipling<\/span><\/span> <\/span>method you may find in your research<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 <\/span><\/span>Detail<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>and explain <\/span><\/span><\/span>a<\/span><\/span> <\/span>mentoring plan for the developing leader<\/span><\/span> <\/span>\u2013 utilize the FISH method<\/span><\/span> <\/span>or another<\/span><\/span> <\/span>mentoring<\/span><\/span>method<\/span><\/span> <\/span>you may find<\/span><\/span> <\/span>in your research<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 <\/span><\/span>Detail<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>and explain <\/span><\/span><\/span>a<\/span><\/span> <\/span>coaching plan for the developing leader<\/span><\/span>; u<\/span><\/span>tilize<\/span><\/span> <\/span>a coaching plan from the literature<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 <\/span><\/span>Incorporate<\/span><\/span> <\/span>lessons from the<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>The<\/span><\/span> <\/span>Strong Leader\u2019s Hand <\/span><\/span><\/span>Workbooks<\/span><\/span> <\/span>into <\/span><\/span><\/span>the discipling<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>section<\/span><\/span>, the mentoring section, and the <\/span><\/span><\/span>coaching<\/span><\/span> <\/span>section<\/span><\/span>; there should be a minimum of six lessons utilized and cited in each section.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 <\/span><\/span>Provide a<\/span><\/span> <\/span>notional<\/span><\/span> <\/span>timeline<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

The <\/span><\/span><\/span>Discipling, Mentoring, and Coaching <\/span><\/span><\/span>Plan<\/span><\/span> <\/span>length should be<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>10<\/span><\/span>\u2013<\/span><\/span>1<\/span><\/span>2<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>page<\/span><\/span>s <\/span><\/span><\/span>in current APA format.  This length does not include the cover page<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>and reference page.  <\/span><\/span>Do not include an Abstract.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
