For this session you will write a paper addressing two to three controversial societal themes that have emerged over the last 5 \u2013 10 years that tie to your capstone topic. Be sure to use terminology related to Social Learning Theory and make direct connections to your research topic citing peer-reviewed resources. You should consider if these theories will help you address the solution for your research question.<\/span><\/p>\n

Review the <\/span>Program Core Highlight Chart 2022.docx<\/a> <\/span>(Social Learning Theories), along with these <\/span>psychological theories<\/a>, in addition to reflecting upon current events to help you develop this assignment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your paper must include:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Two \u2013 three controversial societal themes associated with your topic.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • A discussion of Social Learning Theory and how it relates to your topic.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • One \u2013 two ways that your proposed research topic may impact the future due to an increasing secular shift in society.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • A discussion of how the societal issues related to your research topic may or may not align with your personal worldview. Address how biblical truth can help you relate to others with compassion. Include relevant Scripture to support your ideas.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Discuss your results from the Gilbert Compassion Survey from a \u201cgrowth mindset.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Address ethical considerations and professional codes of conduct that may influence your personal reaction to your research topic.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Your paper must be:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Three \u2013 four pages in length (not including the cover page and reference page).<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Constructed using an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion with quality college-level writing.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Written in Word using APA format. Include the following:<\/span>\n
        \n
      • A cover page<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Assignment written in an APA approved font and size, double spaced<\/span><\/li>\n
      • In-text citations to support main points<\/span><\/li>\n
      • A reference page with full APA references for each in-text citation used for support<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Supported by a minimum of three scholarly sources.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Supported by Scripture.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
