Assignment#2<\/span><\/b>: Ecological inventory, discrepancy analysis, and instructional plan<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Write a brief summary and rationale for selecting the environment and sub-environment to complete your ecological inventory. You will have to base your ecological inventory on one of the students provided as case studies. You can add details in order to provide a better context for the environment and skills you have selected to complete this assignment. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Develop a data sheet that includes: a) steps in the task analysis, b) notes on discrepancy (steps student completed incorrectly), and c) possible steps to target for instruction. You will have to <\/span>make-up hypothetical data <\/span><\/span>on the steps the student can or cannot complete, and these data will inform your decision on skill(s) you will pick to focus on and teach the student in the next step (i.e., instructional plan). <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Instructional Plan: Based on the data in your discrepancy analysis, clearly indicate the skill step(s) that will be the focus of your instructional plan. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    • How are you going to go about teaching the skills they need? (Chaining, Shaping, or Discrete Trial Training)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • What stimulus prompts will you use (if any)?<\/span><\/li>\n
    • What response prompts will you use (if any)?<\/span><\/li>\n
    • What is your reinforcement and error correction plan going to be?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      An example of how this assignment should be completed will be attached. The case study (Jermey) that I chose will be attached as well.<\/span><\/p>\n
