  1. What trend do you see in the data points? How does this trend inform us? Explanation of the trend should discuss the variability, stability, direction, and fluctuations of the trend.<\/li>\n
  2. Is there a comparison benchmark available? Does the organization use a national benchmark as a target?  If no benchmark is available, then search the literature for a recent similar benchmark that could be used to compare and contrast the organization\u2019s trend.<\/li>\n

  4. What evidence can you find in the literature that indicates best practice and how would you go about applying this evidence to impact the issues identified by the metrics?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
