Content and formalities of the thesis is as follows:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Length of the thesis has to be 13-15 pages long (of written text excluding diagrams\/ pictures).<\/p>\n<div><\/p>\n<div>Topic of my thesis: an evaluation of the effectiveness of law enforcement strategies employed to combat the Mafia in New York City from around the 1970\u00b4s to recent years (2000\u00b4s).&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Research topic: an analysis if completely eradicating organized crime is possible on the basis of the evaluation worked out.<\/div>\n<div>The use of diagrams and statistics from reliable sources is encouraged.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Further remarks:<\/div>\n<div>According to my own research, the Mafia (&#8220;La Cosa Nostra&#8221; as one of the most powerful) in NYC was at its peak in the 1940\u00b4s until the 1970\u00b4s before the RICO-Act along with other laws were enacted, which was a decisive factor for their downfall. For this reason, I chose to concentrate on the time period between 1970 and the 2000\u00b4s in my thesis.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Besides, we were recommended to use databanks of the &#8220;Staatsbibliothek M\u00fcnchen&#8221; (state library munich) or of the &#8220;Amerikahaus&#8221; in munich. In order to minimize suspicion of ghost writing, please try to use these databanks to obtain literature to this topic.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Formalities:<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; margin settings: 2.5cm all sides<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; justified text with an automatic hyphenation<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; font: Times New Roman&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; font size: 12<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; 1.5 line spacing<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; page numbers (preferably bottom right)<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Thank you in advance for the help in writing this thesis and I hope that everything goes smoothly.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Attached is a rough outline of how my thesis should look like, but feel free to make some changes to make it more fitting.&nbsp;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The thesis that I need to have done is for school.
