Application Project: <\/span><\/span><\/i>
<\/span><\/b>Develop a plan of action with the goal of creating and developing your school student support team and how you would evaluate those teams and members. The purpose of this action plan is to create a framework that presents <\/span>WHAT YOU WILL DO, AND WHEN YOU PLAN TO DO IT <\/span><\/i>during the first and second year of your future school leadership position<\/b>. This action plan must address the <\/span>educational leadership skills<\/b> <\/span>(see below Educational Leadership Skills 1-7) You are free to choose the format for this action plan (including a narrative, an outline, a list, a table, etc.). Support your actions with evidence from the peer-reviewed literature and your textbooks<\/b><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Suggestion- the easiest format is a table. You can do a table with <\/span>your first and second years <\/span><\/span>outlined by <\/span>month <\/span><\/span>and what you would do during those times. It\u2019s simple, easy to follow and content driven.<\/font><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

This action plan must address the<\/span> <\/span>educational leadership skills<\/span> <\/span>(see below Educational Leadership Skills 1-7) <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

A.    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>Educational Leadership Skills <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

1.     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Evaluate curricula, use of technology, and other supports <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2.     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Evaluate academic and nonacademic systems <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3.     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Propose designs and implementation strategies for high-quality, technology-rich, and coherent curricula and supports for academic and nonacademic programs <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4.     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Observe staff in a variety of settings <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5.     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Gather and analyze district policies on personnel expectations <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

6.     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide staff with actionable feedback to support improvement <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

7.     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop a system for monitoring whether supervision and evaluation strategies promote improvement <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
