For your Signature Assignment Part 1, you will submit (in MS Word or pdf)<\/strong><\/div>\n

  • \u00b7        artifacts showing how you generated ideas to develop your paper (more mind mapping or listing, bullet point ideas, or you can use your signature assignment submissions of your annotated textbook Bb-supported image formats)<\/li>\n
  • \u00b7        the completed Audience and Use Profile form (Unit 4 content module) targeting an academic audience of readers or listeners who would use your paper in research or listen to it being presented at a conference for enrichment<\/li>\n
  • \u00b7        a paragraph or flow chart showing the progression of ideas in the thought process that led you formulate your thesis, and a thesis statement<\/li>\n
  • \u00b7        a formal outline showing your paper\u2019s planned sections, subsections, paragraphs with topic phrases, and your plan for the distribution of your primary and secondary sources (remember that the sample provided is not a template)<\/li>\n
  • \u00b7        an annotated bibliography (include only secondary sources) with citations in MLA format (8th<\/sup> <\/span>or 9th<\/sup> <\/span>edition\u2014either is fine)<\/li>\n
  • \u00b7        a rough draft showing revisions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    For Signature Assignment Part 2, you will submit (in MS Word format)<\/strong><\/div>\n

    • \u00b7        a document file with the final draft of your critical analysis (at least five pages, double spaced, including in-text citations to primary and secondary sources)<\/li>\n
    • \u00b7        a document file with \u201cWorks Cited,\u201d a list of both primary and secondary sources (no annotations) cited in MLA format (8th<\/sup> <\/span>or 9th<\/sup> <\/span>edition)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      If you prefer, you may submit both the final draft of the paper and the \u201cWorks Cited\u201d list in a single file.<\/div>\n
