    \n significant unmet health needs. You can choose to profile a specific
    \n subpopulation such as a religious or ethnic minority within a

  2. Describe one
    \n global health issue of this population (disease or social, or
    \n environmental issue). Some suggestions include:  COVID burden
    \n globally, vaccinations, famine in countries with poor resources, sex
    \n trafficking in children, scams regarding COVID vaccinations,
    \n violence\/intimate violence against women and girls, mental health burden<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Describe the
    \n incidence of this global health issue including risk factors using
    \n statistics to illustrate the significance of the issue.  <\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Identify
    \n barriers to progression.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Discuss one
    \nspecific<\/b> NGO (non-governmental organization) that currently provides
    \nservices in that region. Examples include: Gates Foundation; Doctors without
    \nborders; WHO; The World Bank; Oxfam; USAID; etc. Or select on these top 15 NGOs

    1. Give at least
      \n three specific examples of the services that specific NGO and the local
      \n government assistance in that area provides.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Compare the
      \n effectiveness of services the specific NGO is providing and what services
      \n the local government is providing the community with three or more
      \n statistics.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Identify (3)
      \n three gaps in these services and offer (3) three suggestions for expansion
      \n or alternative services. These suggestions are yours- not what may be
      \n listed by the NGO or government as future plans. Offer details of
      \n who, how, what funding, and how to measure effectiveness. These need to
      \n be your own suggested initiatives.<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Discuss 3 things
      \n you, as a member of the global community, can do to care for the selected
      \n population group. Provide anticipated timeframes to expected
      \n completion for each initiative. These need to be your own suggested
