These theories should inform your response to two types of questions. The first questions you should consider are: \u201cwho am I as a cultural being?\u201d or \u201cwhat does it mean to be me in this world(or in the U.S.)?\u201d The second questions you should consider are: \u201chow have I come to be me?\u201d or \u201cwho\/what has led me to view myself as a cultural being in the ways that I do?\u201d You will want to cite at least 2-3 concepts from your textbook, course readings, or lectures that has helped you to shape your narrative.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">Consider the readings by Gloria Anzald\u00faa and W.E.B. DuBois as exemplars of a personal narrative that use personal stories and reflections in order to theorize experiences and aspects of identity. Note that these scholars engage themes of power, privilege, marginalization, and resistance differently.
