    • no systematic reviews or meta analysis may be used<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      1. Background and Significance (why is this topic important? how prevalaent is this topic? What are the statistics on this topic?)<\/span><\/li>\n

        1. A brief review of each study. Your paper will synthesize the 4 articles you have chosen.<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. Purpose (discuss the purpose of the study it is stated upfront in each reearch article, aldo add why it is important in the context of your PICO)<\/span><\/li>\n
        3. Sample size (how many participants?)<\/span><\/li>\n
        4. Recruitment criteria for participants (Inclusion and exclusion criteria).<\/span><\/li>\n
        5. Ethics, IRB (what do the researhers say about how they adhered to reseach ethics? A statement about wht they mentioned about IRB is sufficient )<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        6. Summary of the findings<\/span>\n

          1. What is known, not known about your topic<\/span><\/li>\n
          2. Similarities and or dissimilarities amongst the studies<\/span><\/li>\n
          3. Findings (what did the researchers find (results of the study)<\/span><\/li>\n
          4. Discuss the statistics used in each study  ( t test, chi square, Anova, Pearsons r, etc,.)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
          5. Recommendations for Practice related to your PICOT (what the researchers recommend).<\/span><\/li>\n
          6. Recommendations for future Research that will help better answer your PICOT (what your think).<\/span><\/li>\n
          7. Recommendations on how you as a student nurse and when you start practice as a new nurse can\/will use the evidence.<\/span><\/li>\n
          8. Each recommendation must have its own subheading.<\/span><\/li>\n
          9. References (reference list)<\/span><\/li>\n
          10. Please note that points will be taken off if you do not adhere to the  guidelines listed above. <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            • Subheads must be listed as noted above and bolded.<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Each impacful statement must be cited. If it is your own idea find an article that has published similar views and cite that author. You will write your own thoughts and ideas only in the conclusion of the paper and your recommendations as a student nurse\/ new nurse. <\/span><\/li>\n
            • Cite the researchers\/authors (when in doubt cite).<\/span><\/li>\n
            • The title of the article is not to be mentioned in the body of the paper, it is to be placed only in the reference page.<\/span><\/li>\n
            • In the body of the paper, you will only cite the authors\/researchers.<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Each time you cite the author\/researcher the date is cited (Author, 2022).<\/span><\/li>\n
            • When you discuss the findings remember it is the Authors’ findings – it is not the study’s findings but the author\/researcher\u2019s findings.<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Similarly, it is not the study that conducted the research but the researchers\/authors who conducted<\/span> <\/span>the study. It is the authors\/researchers findings not the experiments findings.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
