discrimination; or (2) wage and hour issues.<\/span>
The paper should<\/span> <\/span>center<\/span> <\/span>on<\/span> <\/span>a<\/span> <\/span>current<\/span> <\/span>issue<\/span> <\/span>arising<\/span> <\/span>from<\/span> <\/span>shifting<\/span> <\/span>culture<\/span> <\/span>or<\/span> <\/span>social<\/span> <\/span>norms,<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

changes<\/span> <\/span>in <\/span>administrative or enforcement priorities, or noteworthy legislative or judicial <\/span><\/div>\n
trends. <\/span>Identify the issue and provide a brief background of the developing law relevant to the issue; <\/span>discuss the current law(s),<\/span> <\/span>interpreting<\/span> <\/span>rules (if<\/span> <\/span>applicable), and case law; <\/span><\/div>\n
analyze the issue applying <\/span>the foundational concepts discussed in this course; and take a position on what solutions or <\/span>outcomes<\/span> <\/span>are<\/span> <\/span>possible,<\/span> <\/span>and<\/span> <\/span>which<\/span> <\/span>you<\/span> <\/span>support.<\/span> <\/span>You<\/span> <\/span>must<\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n
include<\/span> <\/span>citations<\/span> <\/span>(in<\/span> <\/span>the<\/span> <\/span>form<\/span> <\/span>of<\/span> <\/span>endnotes)<\/span>to the sources you use<\/span> <\/span>to support your work,<\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n
including the relevant laws,<\/span> <\/span>cases, and any third-party <\/span>resources you referenced.<\/span>


1.<\/span> <\/span>Length<\/span>:<\/span> <\/span>5-8 pages (excluding endnotes), double-spaced, 12-point Calibri or Times New<\/span>
Roman<\/span> <\/span>font,<\/span> <\/span>1-inch<\/span> <\/span>margins<\/span> <\/span>on<\/span> <\/span>all<\/span> <\/span>sides.<\/span> <\/span>Number your pages<\/span> <\/span>and<\/span> <\/span>include<\/span> <\/span>your name<\/span> <\/span>in<\/span> <\/span>the<\/span>

foundational concepts discussed throughout the course; and<\/span>
