This week I am asking you to dig deeper by examining, comparing and contrasting <\/span><\/span>one<\/u><\/em><\/strong> <\/span>non-Western approach to leadership and <\/span><\/span>one<\/u><\/em><\/strong> <\/span>Western leadership ideology. I would expect you may want to look at the ideas of Plato, Machiavelli, Lao Tze, De Tocquevile, and Confucius, to name a few, but certainly feel free to use others if you like. Clearly and succinctly deconstruct each (again <\/span><\/span>one<\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/em>Western and <\/span><\/span>one<\/strong><\/em><\/span> <\/span>non-Western approach to leadership) and provide a clear understanding of the historical perspectives of each. Then draw connections back to your original post in week one when you identified and wrote about two different leadership theories. How are they similar or dissimilar? Can you identify common themes or threads? What is the cultural significance of each? What resonates with you? Which are more practical or useful in its application to Athletic Administration as either a coach or administrator? Which do you feel more aligned with? <\/span>This should be a minimum of 4-5 pages <\/span><\/span>with APA formatting.<\/strong>
