The question is in hispanic adult males experiencing symptoms of depression how does CBT compare to SFBT reducing symtpoms of depression and increasing motivation? The point of this paper is to essentially show support of both intervention methods and have the client pick which they would prefer. He resides with his mother, stepfather, sister, and dogs. He was living on his own and recently moved back home to focus on his studies. Andre maintains good relationships with his childhood friends, grandparents and girlfriend. He states that he has a good support system, hobbies and responsibilities that have always kept his busy but recently he has found a decline in his productivity and motivation. Despite demonstrating a positive outlook on life and exhibiting resilience in navigating challenges, Andre has recently presented concerns related to his procrastination, productivity, and motivation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 1.25em; margin-right: 0px; margin-left: 0px; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">Upon further assessment and discussion, it has become evident that Andre&#8217;s concerns are deeply rooted in an underlying issue of depression. The client meets the criteria for a diagnosis of depression, which has been identified as the primary presenting problem.
