The article must based on this abstract.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 12pt; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&#8220;The purpose of this paper is to explore the implementation and impact of<br \/>\nTransportation Oriented Development (TOD) on public amenities in Malaysia. TOD<br \/>\nknown as an urban design approach aimed to enhanced public spaces and amenities<br \/>\nthrough sustainable development around transportation hubs. This study examines<br \/>\nspecifically the situation in Malaysia and analyse the effectiveness of TOD in<br \/>\nimproving urban public facilities. This paper focus to determine the main goals<br \/>\nof TOD development in Malaysia, such as land use efficiency, minimize traffic<br \/>\ncongestion, improving access to public transport, and creating liveable<br \/>\ncommunities. Examine the role of mixed-use development, pedestrian-friendly<br \/>\ninfrastructure, and densification in the design of public facilities in the TOD<br \/>\narea. Furthermore, this study explores the specific benefits of TOD for public<br \/>\namenities in Malaysia. TOD are developed not only to benefit and improve the<br \/>\nwelfare of resident, but it creates the integrated public spaces such as parks,<br \/>\nreligious and recreational areas to promote community participation Besides<br \/>\nthat, proximity to essential services such as schools, medical facilities and<br \/>\nshopping malls was also examined focusing on the convenience and accessibility<br \/>\nTOD provides. There are several challenges faced in the TOD implementation in<br \/>\nMalaysia and proposes strategies to be highlight in this research paper. Key factors<br \/>\nfor the success of TOD projects determined by the effective cooperation between<br \/>\nthe public and private sectors, government support policies, and community<br \/>\ninvolvement. The research method used for this paper is qualitative research. A<br \/>\ncomprehensive analysis of related statutes, rules and regulations, research<br \/>\npapers, journals, articles, thesis and electronic materials.
