Kierkegaard thinks there are two main ways we create change in our lives in order to avoid boredom: crop rotation versus field rotation. <\/p>\n

Using his text and my notes, define each of these and give a brief example to illustrate how they work. <\/p>\n

(a) <\/span>Identify an area of your life that you want to change, and describe it (it could be your job, relationship, current geographical location, – anything fairly important in your life). <\/p>\n

(b)<\/span> Then, explain how you would change it using field rotation. (c)<\/span> Why doesn’t this change work? <\/p>\n

(d)<\/span> Finally, explain how you would change it using crop rotation. Why is it that crop rotation works when field rotation does not? Using a quote from Kierkegaard, explain: what does crop rotation give you that field rotation lacks?<\/p>\n
