Why or why not?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What Is Expected in this Essay?<\/p>\n<p>It is to be formatted in MLA<br \/>\nIt is to be 2.5-3 pages<br \/>\nIt should have at least 2 outside sources (research)<br \/>\nIt should have a properly formatted title<br \/>\nIt should contain a clear thesis at the end of the intro and clear topic sentences starting the body paragraphs<br \/>\nIt should be careful to not have vulgarities in the text itself<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s an important thing to support the essay<\/p>\n<p>What are &#8220;bad words&#8221;?  We are told from childhood that there are certain words we shouldn&#8217;t use.  In this course, I highly discourage the use of vulgar and cuss words in a paper.  But vulgarity is everywhere.  It is in our music. It is in our movies and TV shows.  It is in our neighborhoods and social media.  And it is in our schools.  The question becomes should we regulate speech, specifically vulgarities, in college classrooms?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What Is Expected in this Essay?
