You are the Chief Diversity Officer for STEMStar, a non-profit think tank focused on supporting the needs of underrepresented job seekers in STEM (Science, technology, Engineering, and Math) fields. Your company employees 250 people. A recent diversity survey shows that its own hiring and promotion practices are not in line with its mission. 
You have been tasked with conducting a training for upper-level management on how bias can affect recruitment and retention. <\/p>\n
