General health<br \/>\nknowledge at other levels of care, such as RN, is not sufficient for this course as they are not from the perspective of a<br \/>\nclinician.<br style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><br \/>\n\u2022 Summary Websites: Do not use disease-specific websites and clinician sources such as Medscape, MayoClinic, Up-to-<br \/>\nDate, CDC, Cleveland Clinic, etc. The information from these sources may not be current. EXCEPTION: ICD-10 and CPT<br \/>\ncodes may be researched and cited from Internet sources. However, they do not count towards your source<br \/>\nrequirements.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">\u2022 General Healthcare Websites: Websites that provide the lay person with information but are not meant for<br \/>\nprofessionals. These could include .org or .edu websites, blogs, or commercial sites.<br style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><br \/>\n\u2022 Databases: Databases to research evidenced-based practice sources exist such as Dynamed, EBSCOHOST, CINAHL,<br \/>\nCochrane Library, Medline, StatPearls,etc. The original publication should be cited and referenced.<br style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><br \/>\n\u2022 Textbooks: Textbooks provide an overview of key information, but again are not sufficient to facilitate scholarly<br \/>\ndiscussion.
