  2. As a NL Systems\u2019 Analyst\/Risk Anticipator and Outcomes manager <\/span>analyze the results<\/strong> <\/span><\/span>from your assessments to determine where your unit\u2019s risks are and to help you focus on a well-defined quality improvement project for your unit.<\/li>\n
  3. Provide an analysis of your findings by briefly exploring all 5Ps<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. After reviewing findings with your colleagues, the manager, your preceptor AND your nurse leader during the interview in order to <\/span>determine which of these findings has the greatest priority.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Discuss how these findings can have an impact your organization\u2019s mission, vision, and values.<\/li>\n
  6. Discuss how the findings affect your unit\u2019s current metrics, goals, and benchmarks; ensure that the clinical and fiscal impacts are shared!<\/li>\n
  7. The content\/format of the paper should incorporate the following:<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n

    • Page 1 \u2013 <\/span>Title page<\/u> <\/span><\/strong>in APA format (to include Running head and pagination)<\/li>\n
    • Page 2 – <\/span>Summary of findings<\/span><\/u> <\/span><\/strong>from both CMATs. As a NL Systems\u2019 Analyst\/Risk Anticipator and Outcomes manager analyze the results from your assessments, determine where the high priority unit\u2019s risks are, and explain your findings based on the 5 Ps: <\/span>Purpose, People, Patient, Processes, and Patterns (1\/2 page)<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Page 2 \u2013 <\/span>Prioritizing the issues<\/u> <\/span><\/strong>based on mission, vision, values of organization\/unit describe the priority issues (1\/2 page)<\/li>\n
    • Page 3 – <\/span>Organizational impact<\/u> <\/span><\/strong>both clinically and financially (1\/2 page)<\/li>\n
    • Page 3 \u2013 <\/span>Connecting to quality<\/u> <\/span><\/strong>which quality of care metric on your unit will be affected (i.e. infection rates, staff retention, patient satisfaction, fall rates, ) (1\/2 page)<\/li>\n
    • Page 4 \u2013 <\/span>References<\/u> <\/span><\/strong>\u2013 In APA, please! <\/li>\n
