  • The first chapter should be in your imagined future voice about 5 years from now – where do you think you will be? What will your life be like? What will you be doing? what will be your values and who will be important to you? OR the first chapter can be in the voice of you now<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The second chapter should offer an expose of the values, themes, ideas and issues introduced in the first chapter and experienced by you in a memory in the past<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Develop the memoir using a range of narrative techniques including flashback and foreshadowing.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Use a range of imaginative and creative language techniques and craft your writing for impact on the reader of your memoir<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Your memoir must focus on the characters growth through important life defining changes.<\/span><\/li>\n
