Use this published theory to help align your identified solutions to the discovered problem in your research paper.<\/div>\n

Following the Problem\/Purpose statement in your paper, include Level II APA header titled:<\/div>\n
<\/strong>Theoretical Framework<\/strong><\/div>\n
Write a short discussion within your
\nresearch paper about your chosen theoretical model. How does this theory
\n guide the development of your study and enable you to link potential
\nresearch findings to nursing’s body of knowledge? Theory is essential to
\n research as it provides a framework for developing new studies and
\nlinking findings back to the knowledge of the nursing discipline. Ensure
\n you cite your chosen theorist in this section of your ongoing research
\npaper. Critically appraise other research that has used this
\ntheory\/theorist in similar research, noting how concepts and statements
\nare linked to describe the clinical significance and the usefulness of
\nyour proposal in reality.  <\/div>\n

Submit a document with a proposed model using your identified theory as Appendix A of your paper.<\/div>\n

This can be a simple picture, chart, or
\ngraph (google image the theory, and create a simple chart or graph

\n the end of Appendix A (This will just be the graph of your model with

In 7th ed. APA format, submit the limitations section<\/strong> of your final research paper.<\/div>\n
This section will be right before the
\nfinal conclusion of your final paper and will come right after your
\nsection on Theoretical Framework.<\/div>\n
Add information about any additional
\ninformation that needs to be studied related to your PICO and Research
\nquestion for Limitations.<\/div>\n
You may realize that other causes may
\nneed to be studied further or that original research needs to be
\nrepeated to gain more credibility.<\/div>\n
What limitations were found in similar
\nstudies during your literature review? Outline gaps\/limitations noted in
\n at least one of your discovered articles<\/div>\n
What threats are noted to the validity of your intervention?<\/div>\n
Notes threats to the validity and reliability of your research\/PICO may be external, internal, or both<\/div>\n
Include in the limitations section (no
\nmore than a page or two in length, double spaced) factors that threaten
\nthe reliability of your research findings or the outcomes of your
\nPICO(t). For example, this could be potential bias, the Hawthorne
\nEffect, funding, external\/environmental elements out of your control, or
\n an aging population\/sample size (maturation). Use Chapter 8 from your
\ntextbook as a guide.<\/div>\n
This is the “full disclosure” section of your final research paper<\/div>\n
The header, in bold font, will be “Research Limitations<\/strong>“<\/div>\n

As Appendix B, include the chosen tool
\nof your research paper (this could be a published survey, questionnaire,
\n or medical equipment used to measure your dependent variable). Note the
\n Cronbach’s alpha of your tool. Remember, an alpha of .70 is considered
\nacceptable research. An alpha <.70 would mean this tool should be
\nused again in future research, with more diverse and larger sample

An abstract is a short summary of your
\nresearch paper, usually about a paragraph or two (6-7 sentences,150-250
\nwords) long. A well-written abstract serves multiple purposes:<\/div>\n

  • an abstract lets readers get the essence of your paper quickly, in order to decide whether to read the full paper<\/li>\n
  • an abstract prepares readers to follow the detailed information, analyses, and arguments in your full paper<\/li>\n
  • an abstract helps readers remember key points from your paper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    What you include in your abstract and
    \nin your title are crucial for helping other researchers find your paper,
    \n if your paper\/research is ever published.<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

    Abstracts contain most of the following
    \n kinds of information in brief form. The body of your paper will, of
    \ncourse, develop and explain these ideas much more fully. The proportion
    \nof your abstract that you devote to each kind of information\u2014and the
    \nsequence of that information\u2014will vary, depending on the nature and
    \ngenre of the paper that you are summarizing in your abstract. <\/div>\n
    In some cases, some of this information is implied, rather than stated explicitly. The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association<\/em>,
    \n which is widely used in the social and nursing sciences, gives specific
    \n guidelines for what to include in the abstract for different kinds of
    \npapers\u2014for empirical studies, literature reviews, or meta-analyses,
    \ntheoretical papers, methodological papers, and case studies.<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
    Write in 7th ed. APA format, including your title page, followed by your abstract <\/div>\n
    Your abstract does not need a header but
    \n will be a prelude to the introduction and body of your paper and on its
    \n own page. Centered on the top of the 2nd page of your paper will read Abstract<\/strong><\/div>\n
    Your abstract will always be numbered page 2 of your research paper.<\/div>\n
    Only submit your title page in APA format and your abstract in this dropbox.<\/div>\n
    Assignments that are not in 7th ed. APA format will not be accepted.<\/div>\n
    Please avoid using personal pronouns such as you, I, and me, and avoid the use of unnecessary phrases like<\/span> \u201cI think\u201d and \u201cI believe.\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n
    Papers
    \n must also be written in appropriate and formal academic language,
    \navoiding interjections, abbreviations, colloquialisms, and contractions.

    For your conclusion, include how you
    \nplan to dissemenate your research findings. Consider your intended
    \naudience… is there an organization, leader, or particular group who
    \nwould benefit from reading your paper? Dissemination refers to the process of sharing research findings with stakeholders and larger audiences who have common interests<\/strong>.
    \n Dissemination of findings is essential for research presentation in the
    \n future. Think; “From bench to bedside”. The uptake and use of research
    \nfindings are crucial for the sustainability of evidence-based practice
    \nresearch networks moving forward, particularly in nursing research in
    \nimprove the safety and quality of patient care and for improving
    \ncommunity and public health while reducing health inequalities and
    \nhealth inequities. <\/span><\/div>\n
    Examples of dissementation:<\/span><\/div>\n
    Sharing
    \n findings with a national nursing organization, such as the NLN or the
    \nANA. Sharing findings with schools of nursing or large healthcare
    \norganizations. If you think your research should be repeated on a larger
    \n scale, suggest this to relevant stakeholders (CNOs, regional AHRQ
    \nmembers, professional practice councils, or local leaders in academia).<\/span><\/div>\n
    Be
    \n sure to avoid pronouns and keep verbiage tense consistent. Your
    \nconclusion does not have to be long, but must include who and perhaps
    \nhow you plan on sharing your results with (not just with me). You may
    \ncite references as needed in the conclusion, but be sure the opening and
    \n closing sentences are in your own words.<\/span><\/div>\n
