Please refer to pages 47-50 of the textbook for guidelines on how to draft
\nan RFP. There is no single standard template to prepare an RFP so you may adapt
\nthe textbook guidelines to create your own version. Since all projects are
\nunique, the preparation and documentation of your RFP must be adapted
\nappropriately.<\/p>\n

Large and complex projects may have an RFP that is several hundred pages
\nlong and would be available for contractors to pick up from the customer’s
\noffice. However, with smaller projects, it is possible that the entire contents
\nof the RFP could be published in a newspaper advertisement. Since you are not
\nexpected to post your RFP in a newspaper, the RFP you develop must include all
\nthe information required for a potential contractor to formulate an adequate
\nresponse (a proposal) to the RFP. <\/p>\n

The RFP will not be evaluated on the length of your research or the volume
\nof details, but rather on the quality and pertinence of your research. In terms
\nof grading, you will be evaluated on the exhaustiveness of your approach; you
\nshould ensure that all aspects of the subject matter of your project are dealt
\nwith appropriately and documented properly.<\/p>\n
