Student question: What is implicit bias? Other than race and ethnicity what factors can play a role in implicit bias? Can we have biases that can affect our treatments as health care practitioners? Second step of the assignment: You will be writing one page paper answering the following reflection questions. Papers should be typed, and submitted online in the assignment section. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(1)  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>What is health care disparities and what are some causative factors? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(2)  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Can these causative factors also play a role in our clinical setting? If so how can we reduce these effects?  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
