How does Alfred Hitchcock create suspense? (2-3 pages)<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Choose one scene from each film to analyze<\/li>\n<li>For each scene, describe Hitchcock&#8217;s employment of <u style=\"font-weight: bold;\">ALL<\/u>&nbsp;of the following elements of film we have explored this semester<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Editing<\/li>\n<li>Shots \/ Camera movement<\/li>\n<li>Lighting<\/li>\n<li>Sound &amp; music<\/li>\n<li>Mise-en-scene<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div><u style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Final Paper Question #2<\/u>:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>2. In your opinion, do the main titles and opening sequences provide a framework to set up the larger themes and events of each film? How? (1-2 pages)<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Describe how Hitchcock gives insight into the events to come in the first few minutes of each film<\/li>\n<li>Use at least <u style=\"font-weight: bold;\">two (2)<\/u>&nbsp;elements of film making to support your answer (from Question 1)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><u style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Final Paper Question #3<\/u>:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>3. When did critics\/audiences begin writing about how Hitchcock created a sensation of suspense? At the time of each film&#8217;s release, or in later analysis?
