Firstly, I want you to forget all about war, NATO, hard power, “Qui Pro Quo” diplomacy etc….Now I want to focus on <\/span>the good<\/strong> <\/span>(yes, it does exist in the world). <\/p>\n

I want you to choose an international institution that you would like to work for. First, you to need to think about what appeals to you. Where and which sector would you like to make a difference in? Children’s lives? Women’s lives, general medical help, human rights, animal rights, environmental, political development, infrastructure rebuilding (like building a well\/hospital, orphanage in a village), etc….  There are countless institutions that deal with a myriad of issues. They can be funded by the UN (ex. UNICEF, funded by a conglomeration of nations), it can be an independent NGO (ex. Greenpeace, funded by private entities) or even an IGO (ex. The Peace Corps, USAID, funded by a specific government). <\/p>\n

I want you to tell me exactly what they do, what their primary mission is, what their past successes have been, obstacles in implementing their work, where in the world they operate, why (in your opinion\/view) this an important issue, how they are funded, and lastly WHY YOU WANT TO WORK FOR THEM (don’t just tell me “because I want to help children\/animals”)? Think deep in yourself, why you feel this is perhaps something you would want to spend the rest of your life doing and why it is important work. <\/strong><\/p>\n

There are thousands of problems in the world, and thousands of agencies who try to solve them and make this a better world… <\/strong><\/p>\n
