This is an Action Research Project: <\/p>\n

Part 1: Action Research Focus
\nSelect a focus for your action research and create an overall statement of purpose, including the
\nproblem statement, research questions, and significance of the study using <\/div>\n
questions provided in
\nthe template. <\/div>\n
 Part 2: Annotated Bibliography
\nContinue to build your programmatic project by conducting the research for your literature
\nreview of the chosen autism topic. To begin, locate at least 8-10 educational, peer <\/div>\n
reviewed
\njournal articles on your topic and create an annotated bibliography summarizing and <\/div>\n
classifying  your findings.<\/span><\/div>\n
  Part 3: Literature Review Outline
\nUsing the annotated bibliography, create a detailed outline of your literature review. Use in-text
\ncitations when referring to research and include a references page.<\/div>\n
\n

Part 4: Literature Review
\nComplete the literature review using the annotated bibliography, literature review outline, and
\nany additional necessary research. The review should include an introduction that<\/p><\/div>\n

establishes the
\nresearch context, a body that explains the organizational framework and describes the <\/div>\n
research
\nfindings, a conclusion that connects the literature review back to the context of the study, and a
\nreferences page. <\/div>\n
  Part 5: Researcher Role, Ethical Considerations, and Project Planning
\nAs the researcher, your role in action research is to produce a mutually agreeable outcome for all
\nparticipants and to develop methods to continue the work. You will carry out your project in a
\nreal-world situation and this involves close, open communication among the people involved,
\nwhich means you must carefully identify your role and pay <\/div>\n
attention to ethical considerations as
\nyou conduct your work. Using the template, identify your role in<\/div>\n
 the project, the ethical
\nconsiderations of the project, and your research context, including where and <\/div>\n
who. This is the
\nstart of your methodology section, which you will complete in Part 6 of the project.  <\/div>\n
 Part 6: Methodology
\nContinue to complete the template detailing the specific research method of your proposed study
\nand how it was selected, the instrumentation to be used for the study, and the data <\/div>\n
collection and
\nanalysis methods to be used. Conclude with a short summary based on the Part 5 and <\/div>\n
Part 6
\ncontent. This will become the methodology section of your final capstone paper.   <\/div>\n
  Part 7: Data Collection\/Implementation
\nAt this point your project is fully developed and it is time to put your plan in action. Your action
\nresearch project allows you to implement it in your own environment, <\/div>\n
with students or other
\nparticipants, to identify needs that directly affect your work with students or <\/div>\n
participants. This is
\nthe place where research and practice intersect, and actual change can occur. As <\/div>\n
you implement
\nyour action research project, your research actions can be seen, and you can use the <\/div>\n
experiences
\nto improve professional practice. Use the template to describe the implementation steps<\/div>\n
and the
\ndata collected.<\/div>\n
Part 8: Data Analysis and Reflection of Practice
\nOnce the project has been implemented and the data collected, it must be triangulated, compared,
\nand organized to identify major themes and draw <\/span><\/div>\n
conclusions. This is the time when you act on <\/span>evidence using data analysis and work to design a plan of action that will allow you to make a
\nchange in practice. Use the template to discuss your data analysis, how you will disseminate your
\nfindings, and how you will continue to research and collect additional <\/span><\/div>\n
data. Revisit your entire
\nproject to conclude the evaluation of your results and your next steps. This will become the
\nconclusions section of your final capstone paper.<\/span>   <\/span><\/div>\n
Part 9: Cover Page, Abstract, and Introduction
\nThis is the culmination of your action research project,   where the cover page, abstract, and
\nintroduction will be created. The abstract should provide an          overview of your study including
\ndetails on the intent, significance, and goals. The introduction should  explain the background of
\nthe study and what you are hoping to accomplish.<\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n
  Final Autism Action Research Project Paper
\nIn this course you will compile all of the project <\/div>\n
components and submit the completed action
\nresearch paper. <\/div>\n

\u2022 Introduction <\/div>\n
\u2022 Literature Review <\/div>\n
