Because this country is the land of freedom,<br \/>\neveryone should have equal opportunities to fully dream in whatever field it lies.<br \/>\nSo the provision of equal chances to all citizens with presidential aspirations<br \/>\nis a pro. The natural-born-citizens provision goes against the American<br \/>\ndemocratic concept that all citizens should have equal rights, which is at the<br \/>\nheart of the American Constitution&#8217;s emphasis on the rights of the people.<br \/>\nFairness dictates that if a candidate meets all conditions, they should be eligible<br \/>\nto run for president even if they were not born in the United States. One con<br \/>\nis the possibility that, if elected, a president would use finances to further<br \/>\ntheir birth country. Another con is that temperaments with national security can<br \/>\nallow foreign attacks.
