Part A asks you to produce a management report outlining three strategic
\nrecommendations that you would offer Ooni\u2019s management team. You should prepare
\nthe report as if you were a consultant submitting recommendations to Ooni. You
\nmust think about what your target audience needs to know and write in a way
\nthat its members are likely to find interesting and relevant.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n

You should be sensitive to the difference between what Ooni\u2019s
\nexecutives already know and how your strategic recommendations might affect
\ntheir established way of doing things.<\/span><\/p>\n

It
\nshould include an executive summary of around 150 words.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your recommendations should be succinct and coherent. Markers will
\nassess your capacity to connect theory with practice. You should draw on
\nrelevant concepts\/theories such as<\/span><\/span> Porters 6 Forces, resources and capabilities, STEEPLE or SWOT, <\/span>and provide evidence that supports your recommendations.<\/span>. Be<\/span> clear about how recommendations relate to
\nbusiness strategy and corporate strategy. <\/span>You
\nmust show you can balance appropriate depth with appropriate breadth. <\/span><\/p>\n

Part A should be no more than 1200 words.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Part B report should be the same style and structure as the part A report and draw on appropriate <\/span>concepts\/theories<\/span> <\/span>and
\nsupport its arguments with evidence. <\/span>We
\nhave moved from making strategic recommendations to addressing three
\nimplementation issues.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n

Implementing is not a linear extension of strategic recommending.
\nRather, the two activities are mutually interdependent. Whereas your strategic
\nrecommendations offered Ooni advice about what it should aim at, implementation
\nissues are concerned with how Ooni might hit its target.<\/span><\/p>\n

The type of implementation issues you discuss may vary according
\nto the nature of your recommendations. They could include any of the themes, such as structural, cultural, monitoring and
\nchange issues, and barriers to implementation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even though your three implementation issues might not be of equal
\nsignificance, you should still divide the available word count into three equal
\nsegments.<\/span><\/p>\n
