\nbook chapter or journal article. Please adhere to the paper guidelines (12
\npoint Times New Roman, double spaced, 1 inch margins). Remember to use parenthetical

Using York’s descriptions of a “women’s blockbuster”, the paper will analyze how Legally Blonde fell short and The Devil Wears Prada succeeded. While it was not a blockbuster film, Legally Blonde(2001) did succeed in planting the seeds for the future women’s blockbusters, which includes The Devil Wears Prada(2006). <\/div>\n
The descriptions of a women’s blockbuster are found in the fourth paragraph of the York essay, mainly 3 characteristics: A women’s blockbuster is high concept, has a culture of consumerism (product placements, commercial tie-ins, cross-promotions), and a push in the direction of ancillary marketing and foreign box office.
