The student will prepare a five to seven-page research paper about a current HR strategic issue.  This paper will include a statement of the issue, background on the issue, any HR legal or compliance implications and recommendations for a strategic approach to addressing the issue. T<\/div>\n

You will need to cite at least five references; up to two of these can be from business or professional publications at least three need to be from the peer-reviewed literature.  You should strive to find the most authoritative and\/or up-to-date sources<\/strong>.  Seminal resources dated prior to 2015 can be included, however, they do not count toward the five references required.  Consider (pandemic permitting), conducting some interviews of indiviuals that are in the HR profession to include as primary reference sources.<\/span><\/div>\n

1. The development of a return to work policy based on Covid 19 safety considerations and legal requirements.<\/div>\n
2. The development of a workplace drug policy based on the legalization of marijuana.<\/div>\n
3. The development of a workplace anti bullying policy<\/div>\n
4. Best practices for establishing pay equity in the workplace<\/div>\n
5. Best practices for establishing an inclusion and workplace equity policy.<\/div>\n
6. What is the great resignation and the implications for practices and policies.<\/div>\n

1.  All the rules of citing sources apply to this assignment. <\/span>Citations are not used simply to avoid plagiarism; they have other <\/span>important<\/span> roles too. <\/span>Referencing<\/span> allows you to acknowledge the contribution of other writers and researcher in your work. Citations bring credibility to your work and offers the reader the opportunity to explore other work on the topic.  For this assignment the APA format<\/strong> established in the <\/span>7th edition<\/strong> <\/span>for citing references must be used.<\/span><\/div>\n

2. Use Times New Roman, 12pt font, double space for the paper.<\/span><\/div>\n

3. A minimum of 5 references  are required.
