\n1) you will choose your topic and submit your proposed Problem Statement for
\nyour research paper as well as an outline.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\ngrowth of the economy<\/b>.\u201d)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Outline will consist of 4-5 pages. The Title Page and
\nReference Page are not included in the page count. The paper\/outline describes
\nyour final research project. Each major section within your final project
\nshould be covered in this paper. The Project Outline must be in narrative form,
\nand be descriptive enough that explains each element of your project. The use
\nof graphics and charts is highly encouraged.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The project must include a title page, table of contents,
\nabstract, and a reference page. The project will demonstrate the knowledge
\nacquired through course work completed to date. The project is an application
\nof this knowledge and requires the student to analyze and interpret the topic
\nof interest. The use of graphics and charts is highly encouraged.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This report must be original work. This report cannot
\ninclude papers submitted in previous courses.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

APA cover page<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Abstract (1\/2- 1 page)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Introduction to the topic, problem or thesis statement<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Literature Review Background Research on the topic<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4. Discussion of your ideas on the topic and problem<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5. Discussion of new solution(s) to the problem<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

6. Conclusion<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Looking Ahead<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The final paper must have the following key sections,
\nclearly identified, though they can be titled creatively to reflect your
\nquestion and interests:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I. An introduction<\/i> that states the problem
\nand why your topic is important.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The research question<\/i>, clearly and concisely
\nstated as a question<\/u><\/i>. What do you hope to answer with this
\nresearch? This section should also include definition of terms.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

II. Literature Review <\/i>\u2013 background
\nresearch on this topic<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

III. The results\/ discussions<\/i>, describes what
\nyou have learned that helps answer the research question. What are you ideas
\nabout this topic?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IV. The discussion of potential new solutions<\/i>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

V. The conclusion<\/i>, which summarizes the key
\npoints of the paper and suggests further research needed on this topic.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
