Your introduction should be followed by a<span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><em style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">brief<\/em><span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span>description of the genre(s), including history and general stylistic features, as well as the general social\/cultural significance of the music. The majority of your paper, however, should provide a detailed analysis and comparison of both pieces of music. In what ways are the pieces\/songs similar or different? Could the reasons for differences in musical elements (melody, rhythm, tempo, etc.) and lyrics be purely artistic, or is there a deeper message? Are there differences in the melodies (such as use of different pitches, or even entirely different melodies) between the two versions of the piece\/song, and if so, what could be the reason? Is melody the most important part of the music, or is it rhythm?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><em style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">Rhythm<\/em>:<\/strong><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/strong>Beat, accent, meter, syncopation, etc.<strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/strong>How does the rhythm affect the music, and is it used to create special or interesting effects?&nbsp;Does the rhythm contribute in any way to the overall mood of each song\/piece?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><em style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">Tempo<\/em><\/strong>:<i style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/i>How does tempo affect the song\/piece? Do&nbsp;both&nbsp;versions&nbsp;have similar&nbsp;tempos, or are they different?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><em style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">Dynamics<\/strong><\/em>: Identify changes in dynamics and discuss the effect they create.<\/li>\n<li style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><em style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">Instruments\/Timbres<\/em><\/strong>: What types of instruments are used, and what do they sound like?
