\norganizations. During the 5<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup> class session, your topic will be discussed for
\nconsideration with your professor during a short consultation. These can be
\ndrawn from your field or work experience, individual interests, or among the
\nmany current topics relevant to the field today. They can be policy or
\ntreatment focused. They can be problem-oriented or strengths based.
\n Examples of appropriate topics may be: The use of drama as a play
\ntherapy technique with children; The over-representation of children of color
\nand LGBTQI youth in foster care in the U.S.; Group therapy techniques for
\nelementary school boys diagnosed with ADHD;, The use of DBT with adults who
\nself-harm; Using MI for adults with chronic pain; PTSD treatment for adult
\nsurvivors of IP; Family treatment for immigrant families who experienced family
\nseparation; Treating  Depression in the Elderly LGTBTQ+  population<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n
