This
\nproject will involve primary field research and original writing. In class we
\nwill have several workshops<\/span><\/span> <\/span>related to the project
\nincluding a brief project proposal, a field notes exercise, writing descriptive
\nessays, and<\/span><\/span> <\/span>writing analytical and reflective essays.
\nYou can present your final ethnography in<\/span><\/span>: <\/span><\/span>

\n<\/span>A written Ethnography-
\nThe pieces will evolve into a final project report that will be<\/span><\/span>

\n<\/span>written in <\/span><\/span>an <\/span><\/span>appropriate scholarly language with
\nappropriate citations. The project will involve hands-on<\/span><\/span> <\/span>anthropology
\nrather than library research. It is intended to develop your skills as an
\nobserver and<\/span><\/span> <\/span>interpreter of social life. The exercise
\nwill integrate themes and ideas outlined in the course.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
