Imagine you are editor-in-chief for St. Andrews Books, a local publishing company that is publishing a short anthology of literature for people to read while vacationing in our area. (This is Panama City Beach Florida) By completing the following tasks, create a detailed outline (written in a formal tone and complete, grammatically correct sentences when applicable) to submit at the next board meeting.<\/p>\n

I. Anthology Introduction (20 pts.)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Provide a paragraph introduction that answers the following question:<\/p>\n

How does literature help us understand what it means to be human?<\/p>\n

II. Title Page (5 pts.)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

From our course reading list, choose 5 texts that you will include in the anthology and list them in the order that they will appear in the anthology. List each author’s full name along with the title of the text properly formatted. (At least 3 of those texts must be texts we’ve read since the midterm exam<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

III. Explanation (25 pts.)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

In a paragraph, explain to your audience why you have chosen these texts.<\/p>\n

IV. Individual Text Introductions (25 pts.)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Introduce each text you have chosen by providing a paragraph for each text that addresses an important theme from that text.<\/p>\n

V. Quotes (25 pts.)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Provide 1 quote from each text that can be highlighted in the print edition and that is related to each theme you addressed. Include in-text citations formatted according to MLA .<\/p>\n

VI. Bonus (5 pts.)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n
