There are two parts to this assignment: Coded Text and 3-Column Notes. Be sure to go through the details for each part. Be sure to go through the material in <\/span>USLO 4.1<\/a>, <\/span>USLO 4.2<\/a>, and <\/span>USLO 4.3<\/a> <\/span>before posting in this discussion. <\/p>\n

Part 1: Coded Text<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

In the Coded Text lesson, you learned 6 parts to coded text while reading your textbook:<\/p>\n

  1. What? <\/span><\/strong>Declarative knowledge: What is the concept or process being discussed? (important)<\/li>\n
  2. So What? <\/span><\/strong>Procedural knowledge: How does this concept work?<\/li>\n
  3. Now What? <\/span><\/strong>Conditional knowledge: When do I act? Under what circumstances?<\/li>\n
  4. Vocabulary<\/strong>: What vocabulary words are important in this reading?<\/li>\n
  5. FCD Figures, Charts, Diagrams<\/strong>: What information is in the figures, charts, or diagrams?<\/li>\n
  6. FCD+<\/strong>: What am I inferring from the figures, charts, or diagrams?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Take a picture of your 3-Column Notes and <\/span>embed<\/strong><\/span> <\/span>the photo into the discussion forum. <\/p>\n
