    \n bio. Only include bio, where absolutely necessary, that is relevant to the
    \n prompt.)<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Be sure to choose the director\u2019s major films as well
    \n as some that are less known<\/span> .<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  5. You should include at least ten films<\/u> that span the
    \narc of this director\u2019s career and show how their vision and style has evolved
    \nthrough close analysis of specific scenes in each<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \n using academic sources (from the JWU Library databases).<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Cite all films and other sources in your Works Cited.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      • Be
        \n on a topic developed from the list
        \n provided at the end of these guidelines<\/b>. <\/span>Note
        \n that the topics below are very general and would need to be narrowed down
        \n for a presentation of this length. <\/span><\/li>\n
      • Be
        \n written exclusively in the third-person voice, double-spaced, 12-point
        \n font, and be a minimum of 8 full pages<\/b> (approx. 2000 words) without
        \n the title page and Works Cited<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Employ
        \n no less than ten sources, which will include films, as well as articles,
        \n textbooks, reference works, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n

        • However,
          \n all quotes and paraphrases should be kept brief and fully analyzed in
          \n your own words. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        • Have
          \n a clear and supportable thesis that is fully developed and explored

          \n a title that clearly indicates your specific topic (ex: don\u2019t just say \u201cResearch

        • Avoid

          \n all research (quotes, paraphrases, and summaries of information) with
          \n in-text citations and works cited page in MLA format (please review the
