Research Proposal
<\/span>
The Research Proposal consists of your research question and an annotated<\/span>
bibliography. The research question is a question you will be answering in your history<\/span>
essay. The annotated bibliography is a list, like a works cited page, but with annotations<\/span>
below each source. Each annotation is approximately one paragraph or longer. The<\/span>
annotated bibliography will include at least two potential sources for your essay<\/span>
assignment. Guides for both parts of the essay summary will be available in the History<\/span>
Essay module.

Final Draft <\/span>th<\/span>
The final draft will be approximately six pages or more, including your works cited page.<\/span>
Your assignment should reflect the research and development you have completed this<\/span>
semester. To receive a satisfactory score on the final draft your paper will need to meet<\/span>
or exceed the essay requirements outlined in this prompt. To receive full credit your<\/span>
paper will include evidence of knowledge regarding your research question and topic.
<\/span>
Grading<\/span>
I will grade your assignment using the Research Pape Grading Rubric. The rubric lists<\/span>
details about what a complete paper should have: an introduction, clear and developed<\/span>
thesis, body, conclusion, citations, etc. Use the rubric and your prompt as guides during<\/span>
the research and writing process to ensure that your final essay meets and exceeds the<\/span>
requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n
