Now that we\u2019re almost finished with this term (and this class), you should have a better understanding of the roles that plants have played in the development of various world societies. You should also be more aware of the many roles that plants and plant products play in our modern \u201cAmerican society\u201d and in your daily life.<\/p>\n

For this assignment, write an essay discussing the various ways that <\/span>plants and plant products affect<\/strong> <\/span>you in your everyday life<\/strong>. You can discuss this in relatively general terms or you can even do it in diary format, following how you interact with plants and plant products on a daily basis, sun-up to sundown. References and in-text citations (author, date) are required if appropriate when you are using someone else’s ideas or facts (but you may not be using any “facts” from another source in this assignment, that’s OK here) and you must use proper grammar and spelling. <\/span>–><\/strong> <\/span>The minimum acceptable length for the essay (for possible full credit) is three and a half to four full pages, double-spaced with 1\u201d margins and a 12-point font<\/strong>. <\/span>Title pages and reference sections are additional sections that do not count toward these basic page requirements.<\/strong> <\/span>(Shorter essays will be penalized accordingly.
