In this all important 20 point discussion, your task is to find a statistics study that you find useful or that you like or benefit from, that uses a confidence interval, and a hypothesis test or a regression analysis.<\/p>\n

You are to:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. State what the study is and trying to show, and the result(s) (the confidence interval (CI), and the hypothesis test (HT) or the regression analysis).<\/li>\n
  2. State what the results mean for both the CI,  and the HT or Regression (with a p-value) so that a common person can understand the results. <\/li>\n
  3. Why you chose this study, why you like it, and or how you might benefit from it.<\/li>\n
  4. Include the link to your study.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Number your discussion response with the numbers above addressing those.  You need to state a p-value in interpret it what it shows statistically, and a confidence interval and interpret that confidence interval.<\/p>\n

    You CANNOT use any study that I have already used in the class nor one from a textbook. Sources can be from anywhere else. You might want to check out <\/span>Link<\/a> <\/span>(https:\/\/nutritionfacts.org\/<\/a>) for some ideas and good results from studies. <\/p>\n

    This assignment is to pull statistics all together for you. In my regular in-classroom classes I have them do a full statistics study, and this is my version for you.<\/p>\n

    There are examples of excellent posts from previous students here <\/span>Pulling Statistics all together Discussion Examples.docx<\/a><\/a> <\/span>or you can find it in the helpful materials folder.  Of course you cannot use these examples (In fact that would be cheating and would give you zero points for your overall discussion grade).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
