I am including the comments left by my instructor for both AB1 & AB2. Please take her comments into consideration when writing the term paper. I am also going to attach the AB1 & AB2 as well as the full text references used for both anotated bibliographies. Please use the attached references to write the term paper. I cannot use any external references outside the ones i used for my AB1 & AB2. You also need to read through the AB1 and AB2 as well as the full text reference articles to be able to write the term paper. Per the comment left by my instructor, do not use the reference by Roohafza et al. article as my instructor does not think it is a good source to use to support my chosen PICOT question. Please reach out to me if you need any clarification, thank you.

AB1 Instructor comments

Rejoice, this is really good! only further remark is that your articles don’t exactly support your PICOT. Suggestion to revise to as you’ve written but change “minimizing risk factors for a cardiovascular event” your original PICOT would require looking at, for example, people who follow a heart healthy diet and exercise daily and tracking them over time to see whether they experience an actual cardiac event (this would actually be a really hard study to implement and it would prob be more of an informatics-driven study based on masses of health data obtained retrospectively)

AB2 Instructor comments

Roohafza et al. article is not the *most* appropriate to support your PICOT since it does not discuss an intervention. Also, Minor deduction as this AB was supposed to be in the format of a synthesis matrix.

The number one thing I’m seeing is a lack of synthesis across articles. One thing that is really important to keep in mind for your term paper is that you need to be making clear compare/contrast statements across all your articles and critically appraising the evidence presented in the articles. That’s making sure you’re including statements that speak to p-value significance for quant articles, methodologies/level of evidence, sample sizes/generalizability, etc. Ultimately, If your term paper reads like all article summaries more or less in a list, you are likely going to see some deductions in your rubric. (Here’s another resource that may be helpful for synthesis). https://www.simplypsychology.org/synthesising.html

This mini-literature review should be in APA 7th edition student paper format. It should be approximately 7 pages in length (excluding cover page and reference list). It should reflect a synthesis of your findings from the two annotated bibliographies and propose a study to address the gap in the literature.
