In your research project, you will address the following situation:<\/p>\n

You are a member of a small rural police department consisting of 30 sworn members, with a limited budget. Your chief administrator has tasked you with researching new police technology and asked you to provide recommendations.<\/p>\n

Task:<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • You are required to write a justification for each piece of technology selected.<\/li>\n
  • Of all the technology discussed in the course which would you recommend?<\/li>\n
  • Provide at least three (3) pieces of police technology and identify the criterion that you would use when purchasing the technology and provide a brief explanation for each. In other words, what would you pick and why?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    As part of your analysis include the following:<\/p>\n

    Step 1 – Justification (reasons for the purchase).<\/p>\n

    Step 2 – Budget (how much would each item cost).<\/p>\n

    Step 3 – Ensure each member receives the necessary training.<\/p>\n

    Step 4 – Steps that you would recommend to ensure that the chosen technology is being utilized by members of your organization.<\/p>\n

    Step 5 – A metric to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of that technology.<\/p>\n

    • Proper APA Style<\/li>\n
    • 5-7 pages in length<\/strong>, not including title page, abstract, and references.<\/li>\n
