Presentations must be delivered professionally and orally. Students will complete this assignment with the group members for the paper, or complete the assignment individually.  Students should use Zoom, WebEx, PowerPoint, or other compatible software to complete the oral voice recorded presentation.  List a set of questions, provide an activity at the end that will help others remember the topic, etc.  The rubric lists the headings for the presentation slides.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This assignment is an extension of the written work (Assessing, Evaluating, and Recommendations: Treaty, Policy, or Law Part I). Students will<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>define\/summarize the treaty, policy\/law and<\/div>\n<div>apply theory(ies) to micro and macro practice,<\/div>\n<div>assess social effects of Indigenous Peoples,<\/div>\n<div>display understanding of culturally competent practice, which incorporates<\/div>\n<div>spirituality, values and ethics as defined by the National Association of Social Workers.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;The current effects on the lives of Native Americans\/Indigenous Populations will be included.<\/div>\n<div>Students will clearly articulate linear (Westernized\/Eurocentric) views and circular (Indigenous) views by comparing and contrasting both approaches for culturally appropriate interventions.<\/div>\n<div>An analysis of intervention strategies, comparing the Westernized\/Eurocentric (linear) perspective with the Indigenous\/Native perspective (circular), will be included.<\/div>\n<div>Remember to incorporate the list of terminology into the presentation.<\/div>\n<div>Students will identify social work competencies and practice behaviors for this course in the PowerPoint.<\/div>\n<div>Presentations must be delivered professionally and orally.
