1.\tAnalyze the scandal. You should give necessary background info, explain any differences in participant\u2019s stories, what happened, the outcome, etc. IE. It\u2019s your job to sift through all the research, synthesize it, and re-tell the “story” of the scandal.\n<\/div>\n

2.\tIdentify and classify the different types of reactions the public had to the scandal.\n<\/div>\n

3.\tDiscuss what you think the scandal and the public\u2019s reactions reveal about the culture of the time.\n<\/div>\n

To do this, ask yourself: What happened? (Who were the major players? What did they do? What\u2019s the story?) What did the general public (the media commentators, the people who analyze events, anyone who is NOT actually part of the scandal) think about it? What do you think it reveals about the culture of its time?\n<\/div>\n
