(c) Background<\/u>: The background introduction (1) introduces the issue of climate change, (2) specific types of disabilities, (3) provides background on the impact of climate change on people with disabilities, and (4) defines the scope and depth of the impact. (5) Keywords used in the proposal are defined. The background reviews (1) a report on climate change, (2) a report on people with disabilities, (3 & 4) two 9-point reviews of primary research articles on the impact of climate change on people with disabilities, and (5) explains how these reports and the existing research contributes to the existing knowledge.
