Form that argument into a clear, concise, detailed thesis statement.\n<\/div>\n<div>2)\tWrite an argumentative essay, using that thesis statement as your main focus.\n<\/div>\n<div>3)\tYour thesis statement should be about a specific, narrowed-down aspect of the research theme for this semester, and should adopt a clear stance as to how to address that issue. It should also take into account the pros and cons of that recommendation.\n<\/div>\n<div>4)\tThe thesis statement should be located in the introduction, and the rest of the paper should support it.\n<\/div>\n<div>5)\tYou should support that argument with credible, up-to-date sources and rely when possible on scholarly sources.\n<\/div>\n<div>6)\tYour paper should include an introduction paragraph, body paragraphs, and a conclusion paragraph.\n<\/div>\n<div>Additional information\n<\/div>\n<div>Writing: Avoid using I-statements, focus on supporting your claims with sources instead of personal experiences or opinions, and use formal language (ie.
