If you are not sure whether a particular news story is relevant then please send it to your instructor for review.  Articles should be focused on a direct negative impact of an insect or arachnid on human or animal health. Articles about agricultural pests that affect human or animal food supplies are not relevant because the direct impact of the insect or arachnid is on plant health. For example, you may find news stories about the &#8216;Insect Apocalypse&#8217;, which is a phenomenon of a general decrease of insect abundance and diversity around the world, likely induced by human activities.
