Instructions: For this assignment, you will use a topic and sources generated from your Group APA Annotated Bibliography Project and write a well-researched, multi-component, argumentative essay. Your essay must make a strong and clear two-part claim\/argument about your topic that is backed up by detailed, persuasive, and evidence-supported discussion of the multiple reasons that your claims are valid. You must support your argument by using various rhetorical strategies, including (but not limited to) expert testimony, empirical data, a variety of appeals, narrative, and extended metaphor.<\/p>\n

Requirements:\n<\/div>\n
\u2022\tYour essay must be in APA format (title page, Times New Roman, 12pt font, double spaced, page numbers, proper citations, etc.).\n<\/div>\n
\u2022\tYour essay must incorporate information from AT LEAST 6 (six) sources, and each of these MUST be cited in your paper.\n<\/div>\n
\u2022\tYou must provide in-text parenthetical citations in APA format for all paraphrased, summarized, and directly quoted material from your sources.\n<\/div>\n
o\tDirect quotes must be embedded smoothly to create grammatically correct sentences, clearly support your ideas, and include a page or paragraph number in the citation.\n<\/div>\n
o\tParaphrased material that is not common knowledge must be cited and include a page number or paragraph number in the citation.\n<\/div>\n
\u2022\tYou must include ONE correctly formatted block quote (no more, no less) in your essay of no more than 80 words (A block quote IS a direct quote\u2014but is has its own special rules for formatting).\n<\/div>\n
